Laci - Intern

‘My name is Laci. I am homeschooled and currently in high school. I live with my mom and dad and four younger brothers. I am the oldest of 5 children. The newest members of the family are 5mo old twin boys! The twins have been such a blessing to our family. I have always enjoyed helping my younger brothers with school work, giving big sister advice and teaching them new things and can not wait to start teaching the twins new things.

 

I have always loved babies and enjoy all aspects of pregnancy and birth. I always knew I wanted to go into a related field. After researching I decided I wanted to do something involved with the birth process. I love the miracle of birth and believe women should be able to achieve the type of birth they desire. I think a woman should have someone by her side that can provide her support and guidance to help achieve that perfect birth experience.

 

I believe children are a gift from God and I also believe that birth should not be viewed as a medical condition but a natural unique process to bring life into the world.

 

My desire to be a support system for women during pregnancy and birth has led me to Heritage Birth Works where I hope to expand my knowledge and skills.
